USA Today Review!
Phil Stacey-* * * -- ‘Idol' country contender
"Stacey’s discovery of his style was one of American Idol’s
minor revelations during Season 6. The process continues on Stacey’s
debut album, which includes songs by members of Rascal Flatts and
Little Big Town but sounds only marginally like either act. More often,
Stacey favors melodies and arrangements that recall Bruce Hornsby’s
panoramic pop hits, with lyrics that speak to his faith and his family
with an unaffectedness that makes this the best Nashville album from an
Idol contestant who didn’t win." — Mansfield
