Hello everyone! I
hope you all are doing well. The Stacey family is doing wonderful and
keeping busy (Phil's first CD is going to be released on April 29th -
promoting it tends to fill up the calendar). I want to make sure you
all are caught up with everything that has happened with Phil's career
and where we are headed. I'll apologize upfront; I have my father's
gift of gab.

First, I want to thank all of you for your
prayers and support of Phil and our family this past year during the
crazy and wonderful ride of American Idol! It has meant so much to us
and has helped Phil get a rare and amazing opportunity to share Christ
in an unconventional manner, all while living out his dreams.

Phil
has been able to join forces with Lyric Street Records, the country
music arm of the Walt Disney Company (and the marketing muscle that
those mouse ears bring). He is also on the roster of one of the top
management groups in the Christian market - along side such talent as
Michael W. Smith, Amy Grant and Point of Grace, just to name a few. As
only God can orchestrate, Phil and his team have come together and is
in complete agreement of Phil sharing his faith in Christ to the
unchurched through this CD! Several overtly Christian tunes are on the
album and with the hope that many will be pointed to Christ! Lyric
Street has even given me their full support and use of resources to
engage local church congregations and others who also have caught the
vision of Phil being used as "salt and light" as a relevant secular
artist.

The catch is Phil must be a profitable artist in
today's saturated pop culture in order to taken seriously by the
secular music industry. We believe and are praying that with the music
industry's stamp of approval, Phil's will gain more media attention,
more airplay on radio and ultimately someone who would never darken a
door of a church, is buying his CD!

In order to do this,
Phil's CD must have high sale numbers the first week released (APRIL
29th)! I believe we need to concentrate our efforts and rally the
church to get behind Phil. If we have everyone who plans on buying a
CD to do so this first week (or *pre-order from Amazon.com) we can pull
off what most believe to be impossible - give Phil a #1 album his first
week on the charts!

Most would think that if Phil sold 40,000
copies first week out he would be a success, but not causing too much
of a stir. Sale numbers of 60,000 to 80,000 units would raise
eyebrows. But what if we surpassed the numbers of this year's Idol
winner, Jordin Sparks (+/-120,000)? Or the largest country debut CD
(also an Idol winner - Ms. Carrie Underwood at +/- 260,000)? Whatever
the number is, I want to SHOCK the music industry/ media. What an
amazing opportunity to showcase that with God all things are possible
and give Phil the chance to be a living testimony that in Christ, we
can do all things!

OK you are pretty much caught up - ha!

Now,
I need your help! I am calling on you, our friends and family,
especially those who are apart of local church ministry, to help me get
the word out about Phil's CD to as many people (and churches) as
possible. Do you have any suggestions on the best way to do this? As
of now we are going to launch an email campaign very similar to the one
going around during the Idol season. We also are in the works to
create a promotional DVD/CD Rom that will have lots of usable goodies
including a video clip of Phil on his music video set- thanking the
church for all their support! We have also talked about bulletin
inserts and posters for the lobby. I would love your feedback. What
would be the best way to engage the largest number of churches? Gather
addresses, etc.? We want to make sure to get the message out to as
many people as possible and let the Lord take care of the rest!

If
you are not directly apart of church ministry, what is the best way to
help you get the word of Phil's CD to your circle of influence? Is
there anything that I can do on my end to help?

Never in a
million years would Phil or I have imagined that this is where God was
going to use us, but God works in mysterious ways! We are completely
humbled to be used in this manner and must confess- it has been pretty
fun. Most people do not get to experience what we have this past year
during their entire lifetime. We truly are blessed. Thank you so much
for your prayers and your unending support! We love you!!!!!
